Protect your name before someone else takes it

PERFORMER & PRODUCER

Hey — welcome to the NSFWcoach newsletter.
I’ll keep this short, useful, and worth opening.

Here’s the one move every creator should make early (and too many don’t):

👉 Buy the domain that matches your stage name.

Not your platform username.
Not a link-in-bio you don’t control.
Your actual name as a URL.

Why this matters more than almost anything else:

  • Platforms can ban you. Domains don’t.
  • Social links change. URLs are portable.
  • If someone Googles your name, you should own what they find.

Even if you do nothing else right now, protect the name.

What to do (simple version)

  1. Buy your domain (yourstagename.com)
  2. Put up a clean, safe-for-work page
  3. Add an email capture

That’s it. You’ve just future-proofed yourself more than 90% of creators.

Tools I recommend

  • Carrd
Free (or cheap), fast, clean. Perfect for a one-page “home base.”
  • Kit
Free to start, creator-friendly, and easy to grow into.

You don’t need a full website.
You don’t need branding paralysis.
You just need a door you control.

If you get deplatformed tomorrow and you don’t have this set up, you’re scrambling.
If you do have it, you send one email and keep moving.

That’s the difference between panic and leverage.

More soon.

P.S. If you already have a domain but no email capture yet, congrats—you’re halfway there. Finish the job this week.

The world changes faster than most people can adapt. Industries evolve, technology rewrites the rules, and careers that once felt secure can become uncertain overnight. For more than 20 years, I built a business in adult entertainment, where adapting wasn't optional. I navigated changing laws, platform bans, payment processors, censorship, public stigma, shifting algorithms, and COVID. Every challenge forced me to reinvent or get left behind.Beyond business, I live what I teach. Earning my black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu taught me that growth comes from becoming a beginner again and again. Progress is built through humility, repetition, and the willingness to keep learning.Today, I help creators, entrepreneurs, and professionals develop the most valuable skill of the AI era: the ability to adapt.

NSFWcoach nsfwcoach.com I see and hear it all the time. A creator is burned out because they’re being bombarded with DMs from people asking for crap they don’t want to do. “Will you make this?” “Will you do that?” “Can I get your number?” “Can we FaceTime?” “Why don’t you make this kind of content?” “Have you ever thought about doing _____?” After a while, it gets freakn’ annoying. Especially when you’ve already made your boundaries clear. I get it. As an exclusively GG performer myself, I...

Why I Stopped Coaching Adult Content Creators People read that sentence and usually assume one of two things. Either I burned out on the adult industry. Or I think adult content creators can't build successful businesses. Neither is true. In fact, some of the best entrepreneurs I've ever met are adult content creators. And that's exactly why I stopped coaching adult content creators. Because I realized I was filtering clients by the wrong thing. I thought expertise was enough. When I started...

Crystal C. Singer August Thoughts Why “Rewind and Reflect” Only Works If the Lesson Is Specific Most people process a bad moment by replaying the worst part of it: the yelling, the humiliation, the sting, over and over. That’s not reflection, that’s re-injury. You relive the pain and learn nothing, because you’re still standing inside it, and nothing useful gets built from inside the wound. You just get better at feeling the same thing again. There’s a better way to process a hard moment, but...
